HOLIDAY MODE ON
The Formula 1 off‑season quiet on the surface, but absolutely buzzing underneath. Teams retreat into their factories and drivers juggle training camps, sponsor duties, and the occasional cryptic social‑media tease. Rumours swirl, technical directors play chess with regulations, and us fans spend months imagining how the next season’s storylines will unfold. It’s a pause, but never really a rest—more like the deep breath before the lights go out.
Many of the drivers went back home, spending time with family and friends, But lets take a look at some driver highlights over the holidays….
Starting off with our current world champion, Mr Lando Norris. After finishing his best season yet by claiming his maiden formula one title, Norris reinstated his party boy reputation; spotted out with his mates celebrating his victory late into the night, but it seems it didn’t end there – after multiple post season interviews it was clear that Lando had continued celebrations longer than just the night, speaking in a very raspy almost gone voice. He then treated himself to a well-deserved getaway in the Caribbean alongside his girlfriend Magui and other friends.
Max Verstappen was seen through posts from his long-term partner Kelly, Enjoying his new baby daughter, lily’s first Christmas in Brazil. A new change to this season was max confirming and introducing the new era of MV3, Reuniting with Daniel Ricciardo for a ford racing x redbull video, Daniel spoke about how Max had contacted him to ask permission to use his former race number. Being ex team mates and good friends, Ricciardo told the media he was more than happy to allow Max to use it moving forward. ‘maxiel’ as fans call the pair, have been a fan favourite team pairing for years, loved for their mutual respect, strong chemistry and so many memorable moments together: from DR3 to MV3 welcome back to the grid number 3.
