Alfonso Celis Jr Given Two Test Days By Force India

 

When the Sahara Force India team roll their 2016 challenger our of the garage in Barcelona next week, Alfonso Celis Jr will be the man at the wheel.

The 19-year-old Mexican, will be hitting the track in the new VJM09 on the first and fourth days of the first test, after making his debut with the team in the Pirelli tyre test in Abu Dhabi last year. Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg will take to the track on days two and three respectively.

Celis competed in both the Formula Renault as well as GP3 series since 2014, says his target is eventually a race seat with the team.

The second test will see only Hulkenberg and Perez taking to the track on alternating test days, Hulkenberg on days 1 & 3, Perez on days 2 & 4.
